Huntsville
FPV drone pilot in Huntsville
We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Huntsville for tech and recruiting content, venue fly-throughs, concerts and brand launches. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Huntsville, AL drone videographer page.
Tech campuses and offices
Cummings Research Park, downtown, MidCity and the new communities in Madison suit FPV recruiting and brand films that move from the street into a lobby in one take, filmed with the owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Concerts and venues
Our crew flew sub-100-gram livestream drones for UNITY at the Sphere in Las Vegas, with the live feed shown on its immersive screen. Amphitheaters, ballparks and arenas across Huntsville host concerts and games where we fly FPV with the venue's approval. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Huntsville, AL live event drones.
Redstone Arsenal and airspace
Redstone Arsenal is a federal no-drone area, and its restricted airspace cannot be cleared through LAANC, so we plan every Huntsville and Madison shoot well clear of the Arsenal and its airfield. Huntsville International, 9 miles southwest of downtown, has a control tower and Class C airspace. Many Alabama cities limit drone takeoff and landing on city property such as parks, so we launch from private property with the owner's approval or get the city's permission. We check every Huntsville location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Alabama event drone law
Alabama's ticketed event drone law, in effect since October 1, 2026, bars flights within 400 feet of or above a ticketed music, sports or performing arts event unless the organizer consents or another exemption applies, so we fly event work with the organizer's written consent.

FAQs
Does Alabama law limit drones at ticketed events?
Yes. Since October 1, 2026 state law bars flights within 400 feet of or above a ticketed event unless the organizer consents or another exemption applies, so we get consent in writing.
Can you fly FPV near Redstone Arsenal?
No. Redstone Arsenal is a federal no-drone area and its restricted airspace cannot be cleared through LAANC.
Do you need FAA approval to fly in Huntsville?
It depends on the address. Huntsville International has Class C airspace. We check every location on the FAA sectional and B4UFLY before quoting and file LAANC where it is needed.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
