Hoover, AL FPV Drone Pilot and Operator

FPV drone pilot in Hoover

We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Hoover for ballpark and tournament content, clubhouse fly-throughs, new community films and brand launches. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Hoover, AL drone videographer page.

Hoover Met and tournaments

Our crew flew five days of live coverage, live to FOX, at the FIFA Fan Festival Atlanta. The Hoover Metropolitan Stadium complex hosts baseball and tournaments, including the SEC Baseball Tournament in recent years, which we fly with the organizer's written consent. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Hoover, AL live event drones.

Communities and clubhouses

Ross Bridge, Greystone and the newer neighborhoods suit clubhouse, amenity and model home fly-throughs, filmed with the owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Parks and Alabama law

Oak Mountain is a state park, so we get written permission from the park before launching on park land. Many Alabama cities limit drone takeoff and landing on city property such as parks, so we launch from private property with the owner's approval or get the city's permission. Alabama's ticketed event drone law, in effect since October 1, 2026, bars flights within 400 feet of or above a ticketed music, sports or performing arts event unless the organizer consents or another exemption applies, so we fly event work with the organizer's written consent. We check every Hoover location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

FAQs

Does Alabama law limit drones at ticketed events?

Yes. Since October 1, 2026 state law bars flights within 400 feet of or above a ticketed event unless the organizer consents or another exemption applies, so we get consent in writing.

Can you fly FPV through a clubhouse?

Yes, with the club's approval and a route agreed with staff.

Can you launch at Oak Mountain State Park?

Only with written permission from the park.

Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?

Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
