Hoover, AL Live Event and Concert Drones

Live event drones in Hoover

This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Hoover. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Hoover, AL drone videographer page.

Hoover Met and tournaments

Our crew flew five days of live coverage, live to FOX, at the FIFA Fan Festival Atlanta. The Hoover Metropolitan Stadium complex hosts baseball, tournaments and events, including the SEC Baseball Tournament in recent years, and we fly them inside the organizer's production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Communities and venues

Ross Bridge, Greystone and the clubs and venues around Hoover host weddings, golf and community events, flown with the owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Parks and city property

Oak Mountain is a state park, so we get written permission from the park before launching on park land. Many Alabama cities limit drone takeoff and landing on city property such as parks, so we launch from private property with the owner's approval or get the city's permission. We check every Hoover location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Alabama event drone law

Alabama's ticketed event drone law, in effect since October 1, 2026, bars flights within 400 feet of or above a ticketed music, sports or performing arts event unless the organizer consents or another exemption applies, so we fly event work with the organizer's written consent.
