Nashville, TN Live Event and Concert Drones

Live event drones in Nashville

This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Nashville. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Nashville, TN drone videographer page, and for one-take fly-throughs see our Nashville FPV drone pilot page.

CMA Fest and stadium nights

CMA Fest ran downtown June 4 to 7, 2026, with nightly shows at Nissan Stadium, and the 2027 festival is listed for June 10 to 13 at the new Nissan Stadium. Festival weeks bring stadium flight restrictions, closed streets and tight production schedules, so we only fly as part of an approved production and plan each shot with the organizer's team.

Ascend Amphitheater and the riverfront

Ascend Amphitheater sits in Metro Riverfront Park on the Cumberland River and lists a capacity of about 6,800 across seats and lawn. Because it is inside a Metro park, drone work there depends on the venue and the event producer, and we never launch from public park land. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes.

Live feeds and same-night edits

We send live drone video to IMAG screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, and cut short edits for social the same night; see Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Tennessee event drone law

A Tennessee law that took effect July 1, 2026 makes it a Class A misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over it, with exceptions including FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get that consent in writing before every show.

FAQs

Can you film CMA Fest with a drone?

Only as part of an approved production. Festival weeks bring stadium flight restrictions and closed streets, so we plan every shot with the organizer's team.

Can you fly at Ascend Amphitheater?

Only with the approval of the venue and the event producer. The amphitheater is inside a Metro park, so we never launch from public park land.

Does Tennessee law limit drones at ticketed shows?

Yes. A state law in effect since July 1, 2026 bars flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without consent from whoever controls it, so we get written consent first.

Can you send a live drone feed to screens or a stream?

Yes. We send live drone video to LED screens, the livestream or a broadcast truck, and agree the format and cue points with your production team before show day.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
