Live event drones in Pigeon Forge
This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Pigeon Forge. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Pigeon Forge, TN drone videographer page.
Shows, car shows and festivals
Our crew has flown the Life is Beautiful festival in downtown Las Vegas. Festivals and car shows draw big crowds, and many city events fall under Tennessee's event law. A Tennessee law that took effect July 1, 2026 makes it a Class A misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over it, with exceptions including FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get that consent in writing before every show. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.
Attractions, resorts and venues
The Parkway's attractions, theaters and shops suit tourism and brand films, filmed with each owner's written approval. Dollywood bans personal and commercial drones on or off its property without the company's prior written approval, so we never fly toward it without that. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours. In the mountains the bigger limits are often terrain and land rules: ridgelines block line of sight and the control signal, so we pick launch points before the shoot.
Park land and airspace
Great Smoky Mountains National Park land bans drones, so we keep flights off it. The nearest airport, in Sevierville to the north, has no control tower, but tour helicopters fly low over the area, so we keep a visual observer on every shoot. We check every Pigeon Forge location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

FAQs
Can you fly near Dollywood?
Not without the company's prior written approval. Dollywood bans personal and commercial drones on or off its property without it.
Can you fly a Pigeon Forge car show?
Yes, inside the organizer's plan and with consent in writing, because many city events fall under Tennessee's event law.
Does Tennessee law limit drones at ticketed shows?
Yes. A state law in effect since July 1, 2026 bars flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without consent from whoever controls it, so we get written consent first.
Can you send a live drone feed to screens or a stream?
Yes. We send live drone video to LED screens, the livestream or a broadcast truck, and agree the format and cue points with your production team before show day.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
