Franklin, TN Live Event and Concert Drones

Live event drones in Franklin

This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Franklin. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Franklin, TN drone videographer page.

Festivals and concerts

Our crew has flown the Life is Beautiful festival in downtown Las Vegas. Main Street festivals and Franklin's concert and event venues suit the same coverage, flown inside the organizer's production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Weddings and venues

Farms, estates and event venues around Franklin host many weddings, which we film with the venue's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Natchez Trace and airspace

The Natchez Trace Parkway runs west of Franklin, and as National Park Service land it bans drones without the superintendent's written approval, so we keep launches off the parkway. Nashville International and John C. Tune both have control towers to the north. We check every Franklin location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Tennessee event drone law

A Tennessee law that took effect July 1, 2026 makes it a Class A misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over it, with exceptions including FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get that consent in writing before every show.

FAQs

Does Tennessee law limit drones at ticketed shows?

Yes. A state law in effect since July 1, 2026 bars flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without consent from whoever controls it, so we get written consent first.

Can you fly a wedding at a Franklin venue?

Yes, with the venue's approval and a plan agreed with the couple and planner.

Can you launch from the Natchez Trace Parkway?

No, not without the superintendent's written approval. It is National Park Service land.

Can you send a live drone feed to screens or a stream?

Yes. We send live drone video to LED screens, the livestream or a broadcast truck, and agree the format and cue points with your production team before show day.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
