Clarksville, TN Live Event and Concert Drones

Live event drones in Clarksville

This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Clarksville. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Clarksville, TN drone videographer page.

Festivals and campus events

Our crew has flown the Life is Beautiful festival in downtown Las Vegas. Austin Peay State University events, downtown festivals and Cumberland River waterfront concerts are flown inside the organizer's production plan, with the university's approval for campus flights. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Fort Campbell limits

Fort Campbell, northwest of the city, is a federal no-drone area, and the military airfields there shape the airspace across much of the north side. FAA grids around Outlaw Field show zero-foot LAANC ceilings in many squares, so some addresses need a manual FAA request or cannot be flown.

Airspace

Outlaw Field, 6 miles northwest of downtown, has no control tower but sits in controlled airspace on the FAA grid, so many addresses need LAANC or a manual request. We check every Clarksville location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Tennessee event drone law

A Tennessee law that took effect July 1, 2026 makes it a Class A misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over it, with exceptions including FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get that consent in writing before every show.

FAQs

Does Tennessee law limit drones at ticketed shows?

Yes. A state law in effect since July 1, 2026 bars flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without consent from whoever controls it, so we get written consent first.

Can you fly an event near Fort Campbell?

No. Fort Campbell is a federal no-drone area, and zero-foot LAANC grids near Outlaw Field mean some addresses cannot be flown.

Can you fly at an Austin Peay event?

Yes, with the university's approval for campus flights, planned inside the event's production plan.

Can you send a live drone feed to screens or a stream?

Yes. We send live drone video to LED screens, the livestream or a broadcast truck, and agree the format and cue points with your production team before show day.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
