Clarksville

Fort Campbell limits

Fort Campbell, on the Kentucky line northwest of the city, is a federal no-drone area, and the military airfields there shape the airspace across much of the north side. FAA grids around Outlaw Field show zero-foot LAANC ceilings in many squares, so some addresses need a manual FAA request or cannot be flown.

Austin Peay and events

Austin Peay State University events and downtown festivals are steady work, with the university's approval for campus flights. Tennessee law bars drones over open-air ticketed events with more than 100 people, and over fireworks displays, without the owner's or operator's consent, so we get that consent in writing. For games, concerts and festivals we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.

Riverfront and new communities

The Cumberland River waterfront, downtown businesses and the fast-growing new communities across Montgomery County suit brand and real estate films. For interiors an indoor one-take fly-through shows the space in a single shot; see indoor fly-through tours.

Airspace

Outlaw Field, 6 miles northwest of downtown, has no control tower but sits in controlled airspace on the FAA grid, so many addresses need LAANC or a manual request. We check every Clarksville location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
