Case Study: Live Drone Feeds to the Davis Wade Stadium Video Boards

For the 2026 Mississippi State football season, Air Views Media flies live drone feeds to the video boards at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field in Starkville, Mississippi. The drone works as a live camera in the game-day show, flown inside the stadium.

A college football game day is a live show for the stands, and the video boards are its screen. The job is to put live aerials into that show: a drone shot the board director can cut to like any sideline camera.

Season work is different from a one-off. The flight plan, the feed path and the airspace approvals have to hold up week after week, through home games, kickoff times that move and changing weather. Division I games at stadiums with 30,000 or more seats carry a standing FAA flight restriction, so game-day drone work goes through the program and the venue with an approved airspace waiver.

Inside the bowl, the drone flies on paths agreed with stadium operations and game presentation, clear of the field of play. Want live aerials on your video boards? Call 706-284-8364.
