Riverfront and downtown
The Tennessee River waterfront, the North Shore and downtown hotels and venues suit tourism and brand films, filmed with the owner's approval. For lobbies, venues and restaurants an indoor one-take fly-through shows the space in a single shot; see indoor fly-through tours.
Lookout Mountain and the parks
Parts of Lookout Mountain are in Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, which bans drones on its land without the superintendent's written approval. Private attractions set their own rules, and Montague Park limits drones to its bounds because of the nearby National Guard armory. In the mountains the bigger limits are often terrain and land rules: ridgelines block line of sight and the control signal, so we pick launch points before the shoot.
Events and outdoor brands
Trail races, river events and outdoor brands make Chattanooga steady event and product work. Tennessee law bars drones over open-air ticketed events with more than 100 people, and over fireworks displays, without the owner's or operator's consent, so we get that consent in writing. For races, concerts and festivals we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.
Airspace
Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport, Lovell Field, 5 miles east of downtown, has a control tower, so some addresses need LAANC. We check every Chattanooga location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Can you fly a drone on Lookout Mountain?
Not on National Park Service land in the military park without written approval. Private property and attractions need the owner's permission.
Do you also cover North Georgia from Chattanooga?
Yes. We work across the Georgia line in Dalton, Rome and the North Georgia mountains.
Do you need FAA approval to fly in Chattanooga?
It depends on the address. Lovell Field has a control tower east of downtown. We check every location on the FAA sectional and B4UFLY before quoting and file LAANC where it is needed.
Do you film outdoor brands and races in Chattanooga?
Yes. Product films, trail and river races and event recaps, with the organizer's consent for any ticketed crowd.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
