Dalton, GA Drone Videographer and Operator
Air Views Media is a drone videography company serving Dalton, Whitfield County and Northwest Georgia for flooring manufacturers, real estate, downtown businesses, events and brand films. Our Georgia crew flew live drone feeds for TV and the video board for the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park. FAA Part 107 certified pilots, $10M liability standard (optional up to $25M).
Dalton
Carpet and flooring manufacturing
Dalton calls itself the Carpet Capital of the World, and the mills, distribution centers and offices of the flooring industry are spread across Whitfield County. We film plant exteriors, campus overviews, logistics yards and recruiting content, and where the owner allows, indoor one-take fly-throughs of showrooms and production floors; see indoor fly-through tours.
Downtown, the convention center and Dalton State
Downtown Dalton, the Dalton Convention Center on Tony Ingle Parkway and the Dalton State College campus all suit aerial content. For conventions, concerts, graduations and college events we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.
Mountains and lakes
Homes and land in the ridges east of town, toward Chatsworth and Fort Mountain, sell on the view. Carters Lake is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project, so flights from or over Corps land need the Corps' approval, and Fort Mountain State Park requires a Georgia State Parks drone waiver. We shoot from private property or plan around both.
Airspace
Dalton Municipal Airport, about six miles southeast of downtown, has no control tower. We check every Dalton location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
