Calhoun
Manufacturing and logistics
Calhoun's plants and distribution centers along I-75, including flooring manufacturers, need aerials that show scale, access and layout. We film plant exteriors, campuses and recruiting content, and where the owner allows, indoor one-take fly-throughs of showrooms and production floors; see indoor fly-through tours.
Downtown and events
Downtown Calhoun is a Georgia Main Street city with a free summer concert series, street festivals and a Christmas parade. For concerts, festivals and parades we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.
Historic sites
New Echota, the 1825 capital of the Cherokee Nation, and Resaca Battlefield are both state historic sites near Calhoun, so flying over them requires a Georgia State Parks drone waiver. We apply well ahead or film from private property nearby.
Airspace
Tom B. David Field, about three miles south of downtown, has no control tower. We check every Calhoun location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
