Live event drones in Mobile
This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Mobile. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Mobile, AL drone videographer page.
Mardi Gras and parades
Our crew flew five days of live coverage, live to FOX, at the FIFA Fan Festival Atlanta, and big street events here get the same planning. Mardi Gras parades bring dense crowds, so we plan flights around FAA rules for flying over people and the city's event rules. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.
Stadium events
Ladd-Peebles Stadium is on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events. We fly stadium shows only inside an approved production. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes.
Waterfront and federal sites
Downtown and the waterfront suit festival recaps, flown with the organizer's approval. The port and shipyards are secured sites, so we stay off them unless the owner invites us. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center Mobile at Mobile Regional Airport and Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island are federal no-drone areas. Mobile Downtown Airport at Brookley, 3 miles south of downtown, has a control tower, and Mobile Regional, 11 miles west, is towered with Class C airspace. We check every Mobile location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Alabama event drone law
Alabama's ticketed event drone law, in effect since October 1, 2026, bars flights within 400 feet of or above a ticketed music, sports or performing arts event unless the organizer consents or another exemption applies, so we fly event work with the organizer's written consent. Many Alabama cities limit drone takeoff and landing on city property such as parks, so we launch from private property with the owner's approval or get the city's permission.

FAQs
Can you film Mardi Gras parades with a drone?
Yes, with the organizers and city on board. Parade crowds are dense, so flights follow FAA rules for flying over people and the city's event rules.
Can you fly at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on event days?
Not inside the FAA stadium flight restriction, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after covered events, unless we are part of the approved production.
Does Alabama law limit drones at ticketed events?
Yes. Since October 1, 2026 state law bars flights within 400 feet of or above a ticketed event unless the organizer consents or another exemption applies, so we get consent in writing.
Can you send a live drone feed to screens or a stream?
Yes. We send live drone video to LED screens, the livestream or a broadcast truck, and agree the format and cue points with your production team before show day.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
