Live event drones in Huntsville
This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Huntsville. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Huntsville, AL drone videographer page.
Concerts, ballparks and arenas
Our crew flew sub-100-gram livestream drones for UNITY at the Sphere in Las Vegas, with the live feed shown on its immersive screen. Amphitheaters, ballparks and arenas across Huntsville host concerts, games and festivals, and we fly them with the venue's approval inside the production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.
Redstone Arsenal
Redstone Arsenal is a federal no-drone area, and its restricted airspace cannot be cleared through LAANC, so we plan every Huntsville and Madison event well clear of the Arsenal and its airfield. Many Alabama cities limit drone takeoff and landing on city property such as parks, so we launch from private property with the owner's approval or get the city's permission.
Airspace
Huntsville International, 9 miles southwest of downtown, has a control tower and Class C airspace, and Redstone Army Airfield is towered too, so many addresses need LAANC or are off limits. We check every Huntsville location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Alabama event drone law
Alabama's ticketed event drone law, in effect since October 1, 2026, bars flights within 400 feet of or above a ticketed music, sports or performing arts event unless the organizer consents or another exemption applies, so we fly event work with the organizer's written consent.

FAQs
Does Alabama law limit drones at ticketed events?
Yes. Since October 1, 2026 state law bars flights within 400 feet of or above a ticketed event unless the organizer consents or another exemption applies, so we get consent in writing.
Can you fly an event near Redstone Arsenal?
No. Redstone Arsenal is a federal no-drone area and its restricted airspace cannot be cleared through LAANC, so we keep events well clear of it.
Do you need FAA approval to fly in Huntsville?
It depends on the address. Huntsville International has Class C airspace. We check every location on the FAA sectional and B4UFLY before quoting and file LAANC where it is needed.
Can you send a live drone feed to screens or a stream?
Yes. We send live drone video to LED screens, the livestream or a broadcast truck, and agree the format and cue points with your production team before show day.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
