Huntsville, AL Drone Videographer and Operator

Air Views Media is a drone videography company serving Huntsville, Madison and North Alabama for aerospace and tech companies, concerts, real estate, new communities and brand films. Our crew flew FPV over Kinetic Field at EDC Orlando in 2022. FAA Part 107 certified pilots, $10M liability standard (optional up to $25M).

Huntsville

Redstone Arsenal

Redstone Arsenal is a federal no-drone area, and its restricted airspace cannot be cleared through LAANC, so we plan every Huntsville and Madison shoot well clear of the Arsenal and its airfield. A Marine Corps Reserve site in Madison County is a federal no-drone area too.

Tech companies and real estate

Cummings Research Park, downtown, MidCity and the new communities in Madison suit recruiting, brand and real estate films, filmed with the owner's approval. Many Alabama cities limit drone takeoff and landing on city property such as parks, so we launch from private property with the owner's approval or get the city's permission. For offices and lobbies an indoor one-take fly-through shows the space in a single shot; see indoor fly-through tours.

Concerts and events

Amphitheaters, ballparks and arenas across the city host concerts, games and festivals. Alabama's ticketed event drone law, in effect since October 1, 2026, bars flights within 400 feet of or above a ticketed music, sports or performing arts event unless the organizer consents or another exemption applies, so we fly event work with the organizer's written consent. For concerts, games and festivals we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.

Airspace

Huntsville International, 9 miles southwest of downtown, has a control tower and Class C airspace, and Redstone Army Airfield is towered too, so many addresses need LAANC or are off limits. We check every Huntsville location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
