Panama City Beach
FPV drone pilot in Panama City Beach
We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Panama City Beach for beach and festival FPV, resort and condo fly-throughs, weddings and brand launches. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Panama City Beach, FL drone videographer page.
Beach festivals
Our crew has flown live broadcast and FPV drone coverage at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Festivals such as Gulf Coast Jam at Frank Brown Park and Pier Park events suit low FPV lines inside the organizer's plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Beach shoots add their own limits: crowds, launch spots and sea turtle and shorebird nesting closures, so we check local rules and posted signs first. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Panama City Beach, FL live event drones.
Resorts, condos and weddings
Resorts and condos suit one-take fly-throughs from lobby to balcony, and beach weddings are flown with the property's and the city's written permission. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Airspace and military sites
Northwest Florida Beaches International has a control tower with Class D airspace while the tower is open. Tyndall Air Force Base and Naval Support Activity Panama City add military airspace and installations we plan around. We check every Panama City Beach location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Florida drone law
St. Andrews State Park falls under the state park rule: Florida state parks prohibit drone takeoff and landing on park land, so we launch from outside the park. Florida Statute 330.41 bars drone flights over critical infrastructure such as substations, water plants, seaports, airports and military sites unless the flight is a commercial one that follows FAA rules or the owner consents in writing, and it bars flights over K-12 schools, so we plan routes around both.

FAQs
Are there Florida laws on where drones can fly?
Yes. Florida law bars flights over critical infrastructure such as substations, seaports and military sites unless the flight is a commercial one that follows FAA rules or the owner consents, and it bars flights over K-12 schools.
Can you launch at St. Andrews State Park?
No. Florida state parks prohibit drone takeoff and landing on park land, so we launch from outside the park.
Can you fly a condo fly-through?
Yes, with the owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
