Live event drones in Panama City Beach
This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Panama City Beach. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Panama City Beach, FL drone videographer page.
Beach concerts and festivals
Our crew has flown live broadcast and FPV drone coverage at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Festivals and concerts such as Gulf Coast Jam at Frank Brown Park, Pier Park events and spring break shows suit the same coverage inside the organizer's production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.
Resorts and beach weddings
Resorts, condos and beach weddings are flown with the property's and the city's written permission. Beach shoots add their own limits: crowds, launch spots and sea turtle and shorebird nesting closures, so we check local rules and posted signs first. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Airspace and military sites
Northwest Florida Beaches International has a control tower with Class D airspace while the tower is open. Tyndall Air Force Base to the east and Naval Support Activity Panama City add military airspace and installations we plan around. We check every Panama City Beach location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Florida drone law
St. Andrews State Park falls under the state park rule: Florida state parks prohibit drone takeoff and landing on park land, so we launch from outside the park. Florida Statute 330.41 bars drone flights over critical infrastructure such as substations, water plants, seaports, airports and military sites unless the flight is a commercial one that follows FAA rules or the owner consents in writing, and it bars flights over K-12 schools, so we plan routes around both.

FAQs
Are there Florida laws on where drones can fly?
Yes. Florida law bars flights over critical infrastructure such as substations, seaports and military sites unless the flight is a commercial one that follows FAA rules or the owner consents, and it bars flights over K-12 schools.
Can you launch at St. Andrews State Park?
No. Florida state parks prohibit drone takeoff and landing on park land, so we launch from outside the park.
Can you fly a beach concert at Frank Brown Park?
Yes, inside the organizer's production plan, with the city's permission and FAA authorization where the address needs it.
Can you send a live drone feed to screens or a stream?
