We fly festivals and concerts such as Gulf Coast Jam at Frank Brown Park, spring break events, resorts and condos, beach weddings and Pier Park content across Panama City Beach and Bay County. City drone ordinance

A Panama City Beach ordinance adopted in 2023 bars flying a drone over private property below 500 feet without the owner's written permission, bars flights over city parks without the city's written permission, and bars using a drone to record people or property against their reasonable expectation of privacy without written consent. It exempts special event permit holders filming their own event, and fines rise with repeat violations. We get written permission before every shoot.

ECP airspace and Tyndall

Northwest Florida Beaches International has a control tower with Class D airspace while the tower is open. Tyndall Air Force Base to the east and Naval Support Activity Panama City add military airspace and installations we plan around. We check every Panama City Beach location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Florida drone law and beaches

St. Andrews State Park falls under the state park rule. Florida Statute 330.41 bars drone flights over critical infrastructure such as substations, water plants, seaports, airports and military sites unless the flight is a commercial one that follows FAA rules or the owner consents in writing, and it bars flights over K-12 schools, so we plan routes around both. Florida state parks prohibit drone takeoff and landing on park land, so we launch from outside the park. Beach shoots add their own limits: crowds, launch spots and sea turtle and shorebird nesting closures, so we check local rules and posted signs first.
