Orlando

FPV drone pilot in Orlando

We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Orlando for festivals, arena and stadium events, brand activations, venue fly-throughs and live feeds. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Orlando drone videography page.

Kia Center and Inter.co Stadium

Kia Center, the downtown arena owned and operated by the City of Orlando and home of the Magic, took that name in December 2023 after years as Amway Center. Inter.co Stadium, home of Orlando City and the Orlando Pride, opened in 2017 and has carried its current name since July 2026. Indoor flights at an arena need the venue's approval and a flight plan agreed with production, security and the lighting crew, and we fly small, lightweight drones close to the action. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Disney and theme park airspace

A permanent FAA flight restriction prohibits all aircraft, including drones, within 3 nautical miles of Walt Disney World from the surface up to 3,000 feet, and a waiver needs a letter from the park verifying the operational purpose. Theme park owners also decide launch spots on their property. We check every Orlando location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. Orlando International sits inside Class B airspace.

Warped Tour and festivals

Our crew flew drones for the Vans Warped Tour live broadcast on Prime Video in Orlando, inside the festival's production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes.

Florida drone law

Florida Statute 330.41 bars drone flights over critical infrastructure such as substations, water plants, seaports, airports and military sites unless the flight is a commercial one that follows FAA rules or the owner consents in writing, and it bars flights over K-12 schools, so we plan routes around both. Florida state parks prohibit drone takeoff and landing on park land, so we launch from outside the park.

FAQs

Can you fly a drone near Walt Disney World?

Not within 3 nautical miles of the park below 3,000 feet. A permanent FAA restriction covers that area, and a waiver needs a letter from the park.

Are there Florida laws on where drones can fly?

Yes. Florida law bars flights over critical infrastructure such as substations, seaports and military sites unless the flight is a commercial one that follows FAA rules or the owner consents, and it bars flights over K-12 schools.

Can you fly FPV inside Kia Center?

Only with the venue's approval and a flight plan agreed with production, security and lighting. We fly small, lightweight drones close to the action.

Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?

Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
