We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Tampa for concerts, boats and waterfront content, venue fly-throughs and brand launches. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. Gasparilla and big street events
The City of Tampa lists drones among prohibited items at the Gasparilla Pirate Fest each January and publishes drone-free zones along the parade routes. For big street events like that, we only fly as an approved part of the organizer's production, if at all.
Boats and the waterfront
FPV suits boats, the Riverwalk and the bay, flying low over water and through moving scenes. We launch from private property or agreed spots with the owner's approval. Florida Statute 330.41 bars drone flights over critical infrastructure such as substations, water plants, seaports, airports and military sites unless the flight is a commercial one that follows FAA rules or the owner consents in writing, and it bars flights over K-12 schools, so we plan routes around both.
Arenas and indoor shows
Benchmark International Arena, known as Amalie Arena until its 2025 renaming, hosts Lightning hockey and concerts downtown. Indoor flights at the arena need the venue's approval and a flight plan agreed with production, security and the lighting crew, and we fly small, lightweight drones close to the action. Can you fly a drone at Gasparilla?
Not as a spectator. The city lists drones as prohibited at the Pirate Fest and sets drone-free zones along the parade routes, so any flight would need approval from the organizers and authorities.
