Pensacola
FPV drone pilot in Pensacola
We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Pensacola for ballpark and festival FPV, venue and hotel fly-throughs, beach content and brand films. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Pensacola, FL drone videographer page.
Concerts, the ballpark and festivals
Our crew has flown live broadcast and FPV drone coverage at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Concerts, Blue Wahoos Stadium events, festivals and downtown events are flown with the venue's approval inside the production plan. City officials have warned drone pilots away from crowds at downtown races and parades, and we never fly over people without an approved plan. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Pensacola, FL live event drones.
Hotels and venues
Beachfront hotels, downtown venues and offices suit one-take FPV tours, flown with the owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Navy airspace and the seashore
Pensacola International has Class C airspace, and Naval Air Station Pensacola, home of the Blue Angels, adds military airspace and a base we never fly over. The Pensacola Beach Air Show does not allow drones, and the FAA posts a flight restriction around it. Gulf Islands National Seashore, including Fort Pickens and parts of Perdido Key, is National Park Service land, where launching or landing a drone is prohibited without the superintendent's written approval. We check every Pensacola location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Florida drone law
Florida Statute 330.41 bars drone flights over critical infrastructure such as substations, water plants, seaports, airports and military sites unless the flight is a commercial one that follows FAA rules or the owner consents in writing, and it bars flights over K-12 schools, so we plan routes around both. Florida state parks prohibit drone takeoff and landing on park land, so we launch from outside the park. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

FAQs
Can you fly FPV at the Pensacola Beach Air Show?

Yes. Florida law bars flights over critical infrastructure such as substations, seaports and military sites unless the flight is a commercial one that follows FAA rules or the owner consents, and it bars flights over K-12 schools.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
