Live event drones in Snellville
This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Snellville. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Snellville, GA drone videographer page. Our headquarters is in Augusta, so Georgia shoots are planned by our home crew.
The Towne Green
Our crew flies EDC Las Vegas as a three-pilot drone team, with over-the-crowd drones fed into the Hulu live stream. Festivals and concerts on the Towne Green suit short aerial recaps, and we fly with the city and the organizers on board. For festivals, concerts and community events we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.
The Grove at Towne Center
Snellville is building out its downtown around the Towne Green and The Grove at Towne Center, a mixed-use district with restaurants, shops and event space, where grand openings suit an exterior reveal and an indoor one-take fly-through. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Snellville airspace and Georgia law
Snellville is southeast of Gwinnett County Airport-Briscoe Field, and the airspace can change from one address to the next. Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three. We check every Snellville location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

FAQs
Can you fly a festival on the Towne Green?
Yes, with the city and the organizers on board. We plan flight paths that keep clear of the crowd unless our waivers allow otherwise.
Do you film grand openings at The Grove?
Yes. An exterior reveal plus an indoor one-take fly-through, with the owner's approval.
Can you film a ticketed show in Snellville?
Yes, with the organizer's consent. Georgia law bars drone flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without it, so we get written consent first.
Can you send a live drone feed to screens or a stream?
Yes. We send live drone video to LED screens, the livestream or a broadcast truck, and agree the format and cue points with your production team before show day.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
