Hotels, inns and breweries
Asheville's hotels, inns, breweries and mountain resorts suit one-take micro-drone fly-throughs that move through lobbies, rooms and taprooms in a single shot. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours. Biltmore and the Parkway
Biltmore Estate prohibits drones and aerial photography without its written consent, and the National Park Service bans launching or flying drones from Blue Ridge Parkway land, so we film mountain lines from approved private property. Ridgelines block line of sight and the control signal, so we pick launch points before the shoot.
Airspace
Asheville Regional Airport, about nine miles south of downtown, has a control tower and Class C airspace, so southern addresses need LAANC. We check every Asheville location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
North Carolina rules
North Carolina no longer requires a separate state permit for commercial drone pilots, since the state law requiring one was repealed effective December 1, 2024, so FAA Part 107 certification is the credential that counts. North Carolina state parks need written permission or a special use permit for drone flights.

FAQs
Can you fly at Biltmore Estate?
Not without Biltmore's written consent. The estate prohibits drones and aerial photography otherwise.
Can you fly over the Blue Ridge Parkway?
Not from Parkway land. The National Park Service bans launching, landing or operating drones there, so we use approved private property nearby.
Do you need a state permit to fly commercially in North Carolina?
No longer. The state permit law was repealed effective December 1, 2024, so FAA Part 107 certification is the credential that counts.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
