Charlotte, NC Drone Videographer and Operator
Air Views Media is a drone videography company serving Charlotte, Uptown and the surrounding metro for stadium events, motorsports, corporate, real estate and brand films. Our crew flew live drone feeds for TV and the video board for the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park. FAA Part 107 certified pilots, $10M liability standard (optional up to $25M).
Charlotte
Stadiums and motorsports
Bank of America Stadium brings the FAA stadium flight restriction on Carolina Panthers game days, covering 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after the game, so we plan Uptown content around those windows. Race weekends in nearby Concord need the venue's approval and an FAA check. For games, races and concerts we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.
Uptown and corporate
Uptown towers, headquarters and hotels suit recruiting, investor and hospitality films. For lobbies, offices and restaurants an indoor one-take fly-through shows the space the way a visitor sees it; see indoor fly-through tours.
Parks and real estate
Most Charlotte parks are run by Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, which does not allow drone launches from county park property without a permit, so we film from private property or get the permit first. Homes, land and new communities across the metro are steady work for builders and agents.
Airspace
Charlotte Douglas International is Class B airspace, and its shelves cover Uptown, SouthPark and much of the inner city, so most addresses need LAANC. The Charlotte Air National Guard Base at the airport is a federal no-drone area. We check every Charlotte location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

FAQs
Can you fly near Bank of America Stadium on game days?
Not inside the FAA stadium flight restriction, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after the game. We schedule nearby shoots outside that window.
Can you launch a drone from a Charlotte park?
Only with permission. Mecklenburg County parks require a permit for drone launches, so we get one or film from private property instead.
Do you need FAA approval to fly in Charlotte?
It depends on the address. Most of the city is under Charlotte Douglas Class B airspace. We check every location on the FAA sectional and B4UFLY before quoting and file LAANC where it is needed.
Do you film real estate in Charlotte?
Yes. Homes, land, new communities and commercial property across Mecklenburg and nearby counties.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
