Our crew flew five days of live coverage, live to FOX, at the FIFA Fan Festival Atlanta. FAA Part 107 certified pilots, $10M liability standard (optional up to $25M).

Game days
NC State football at Carter-Finley Stadium brings the FAA stadium flight restriction, covering 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after major games, so we plan campus and tailgate content around those windows. For games, concerts and festivals we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.
Downtown and government
Downtown Raleigh's hotels, restaurants and offices suit hospitality and recruiting films, and an indoor one-take fly-through shows a lobby or venue in a single shot; see indoor fly-through tours. State-owned grounds need the state's consent before a drone launches there.
Dix Park and city parks
Raleigh allows drone launches at set fields in some city parks, including the Big Field at Dorothea Dix Park, and bans them at lakes, nature preserves and cemeteries. Commercial shoots on park property need a city commercial-use permit, and aerial permits go through the city's Special Events Office at least seven business days ahead.
Airspace
Raleigh-Durham International, northwest of the city, has Class C airspace that covers parts of Raleigh, so some addresses need LAANC. We check every Raleigh location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Can you fly near Carter-Finley Stadium on game days?
Not inside the FAA stadium flight restriction, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after major games. We schedule nearby shoots outside that window.
Can you film at Dorothea Dix Park?
Drones may launch only from the Big Field, and commercial shoots need a city permit. We apply ahead of time.
Do you need FAA approval to fly in Raleigh?
It depends on the address. Parts of the city are in Raleigh-Durham International Class C airspace. We check every location on the FAA sectional and B4UFLY before quoting and file LAANC where it is needed.

What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
