Greensboro hosts the PGA Tour's Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club, and courses across the Triad read best from the air. We fly courses with the club's permission and plan tournament work with the organizers. Colleges and the Coliseum
NC A&T, UNC Greensboro and the Greensboro Coliseum Complex bring games, graduations and concerts, and each campus or venue sets its own drone rules, so we get approval first.
Downtown and parks
City rules bar drone takeoffs and landings in Greensboro parks, lakes and recreation areas except at approved events, and LeBauer Park and Center City Park need approval from their operator. Downtown hotels and restaurants suit an indoor one-take fly-through; see indoor fly-through tours.
Airspace
Piedmont Triad International, about seven miles west of downtown, has a control tower and Class C airspace over much of west Greensboro, so many addresses need LAANC.
