We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Helen for festival content, cabin and resort fly-throughs, weddings and tourism films. Oktoberfest and the Alpine village
Our crew flew FPV over Kinetic Field at EDC Orlando in 2022. Helen's Oktoberfest runs for weeks each fall and is the town's biggest draw. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Cabins, wineries and weddings
We fly festivals, cabin and resort rentals, mountain weddings, wineries, tubing and tourism content around the Alpine village of Helen, Sautee Nacoochee and White County. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Helen parks, forest and Georgia law
Unicoi State Park borders Helen. Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites prohibit drones unless the Division Director grants a waiver for a professional commercial project, requested for exact dates, times and sites with FAA registration and Part 107 certification. Raven Cliffs Wilderness north of Helen is designated wilderness, where the Forest Service does not allow drones to take off or land. Habersham County Airport, the nearest public airport, has no control tower. Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three. We check every Helen location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

Can you fly FPV through a Helen cabin or inn?
Yes, with the owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules.
Can you fly at Anna Ruby Falls?
We check with the Forest Service first, because it is a recreation area in Chattahoochee National Forest.
Can you film a ticketed show in Helen?
Yes, with the organizer's consent. Georgia law bars drone flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without it, so we get written consent first.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
