We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Americus for hotel and theater fly-throughs, campus and athletics content, farm films and brand content. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. Historic downtown
Downtown Americus is a National Register historic district anchored by the 1892 Windsor Hotel and the restored Rylander Theatre. We film tourism and business promos, and for interiors an indoor one-take fly-through shows the room the way a guest sees it. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Georgia Southwestern and farms
Georgia Southwestern State University suits admissions and athletics content, scheduled around university approvals, and farmland across Sumter County reads best from the air. National parks and airspace
Andersonville National Historic Site and Jimmy Carter National Historical Park are National Park Service units, where drones are not allowed without the superintendent's written approval, so we plan around them. Jimmy Carter Regional Airport, about four miles northeast of downtown, has no control tower. We check every Americus location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Georgia drone law
Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three.

Can you fly FPV inside the Windsor Hotel or Rylander Theatre?
With the owner's approval, yes. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules.
Can you fly at Andersonville or the Jimmy Carter park?
Not without written approval from the National Park Service superintendent. We film from private property outside the park boundaries instead.
Can you film a ticketed show in Americus?
Yes, with the organizer's consent. Georgia law bars drone flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without it, so we get written consent first.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
