Americus, GA Drone Videographer and Operator
Air Views Media is a drone videography company serving Americus, Sumter County and Southwest Georgia for Georgia Southwestern, historic downtown, farms, events and brand films. Our crew shot drone content for the Mississippi State football video boards at Davis Wade Stadium. FAA Part 107 certified pilots, $10M liability standard (optional up to $25M).
Americus
Historic downtown
Downtown Americus is a National Register historic district anchored by the 1892 Windsor Hotel and the restored Rylander Theatre. We film tourism and business promos, and for interiors an indoor one-take fly-through shows the room the way a guest sees it; see indoor fly-through tours.
Georgia Southwestern and nonprofits
Georgia Southwestern State University suits admissions and athletics content, and Americus is home to Habitat for Humanity's headquarters and its Global Village and Discovery Center. For graduations, games and community events we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.
Farms and national parks
Farmland across Sumter County reads best from the air. Andersonville National Historic Site and Jimmy Carter National Historical Park are National Park Service units, where drones are not allowed without the superintendent's written approval, so we plan around them.
Airspace
Jimmy Carter Regional Airport, about four miles northeast of downtown, has no control tower. We check every Americus location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

FAQs
Do you film for Georgia Southwestern?
Yes. Campus, athletics and event footage, scheduled around university approvals.
Can you fly at Andersonville or the Jimmy Carter park?
Not without written approval from the National Park Service superintendent. We film from private property outside the park boundaries instead.
Do you need FAA approval to fly in Americus?
It depends on the address. Jimmy Carter Regional Airport has no control tower. We check every location on the FAA sectional and B4UFLY before quoting and file LAANC where it is needed.
Do you film farms and real estate in Americus?
Yes. Farmland, homes and commercial property across Sumter County.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
