Air Views Media is a drone videography company serving Columbus, Phenix City and the Chattahoochee Valley for real estate, river sports, events and brand films, with Blue UAS drones for secure sites. The river and the RiverWalk
The Chattahoochee is Columbus's best aerial subject. The 2.5-mile urban whitewater course runs between Columbus and Phenix City, and the RiverWalk follows the river for 22 miles. Rafting outfitters, hotels and the tourism board use aerials of the rapids, the bridges and Uptown at sunset, and we fly them from the banks with the right approvals.
Uptown and the theaters
Uptown Columbus packs a lot into a few blocks: the Springer Opera House, the official State Theatre of Georgia, the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, Columbus State University's RiverPark campus and the restaurants along Broadway. We film tourism pieces, venue promos and leasing video for Uptown lofts and storefronts.
Fort Benning and secure sites
Fort Benning, renamed from Fort Moore in 2025, sits south of the city with restricted airspace over much of the post, and we don't fly there without the installation's permission. For approved military, federal or contractor work, we offer Blue UAS drones: the Skydio X10 with the VT300-Z camera system. The National Infantry Museum, just outside the gate, is a frequent subject for visitors and events.
Game days and events
The Fountain City Classic brings Fort Valley State and Albany State to A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium each fall, and the Columbus Civic Center hosts hockey, concerts and graduations. We film recaps and send live feeds to the stream or video board; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.
Airspace
Columbus Airport, north-east of Uptown, has Class D airspace while its tower is open, and Fort Benning's restricted areas lie to the south. We check every address against FAA data and NOTAMs, file LAANC or FAA authorization, and give you a go or no-go before the date.

Can you film whitewater rafting on the Chattahoochee?
Yes. We fly the course from the banks with the outfitter's or the city's approval and can follow rafts with FPV on planned runs.
Can you fly at Fort Benning?
Not without the installation's permission, since the post has restricted airspace. For approved military or federal work we offer Blue UAS drones such as the Skydio X10.
Do you film real estate and commercial property in Columbus?

Is Columbus Airport a problem for drone shoots?

What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
