Air Views Media is a drone videography company serving Macon, Bibb County and Middle Georgia for real estate, historic properties, festivals, concerts and brand films. We're based in Augusta, and our crew has flown live drone coverage for EDC Las Vegas every year since 2021. FAA Part 107 certified pilots, $10M liability standard (optional up to $25M).
Cherry blossom season
Each March the International Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates the more than 350,000 Yoshino cherry trees planted across Macon. From the air, whole streets turn pink, and that only lasts a few days. We hold flexible dates around peak bloom and fly early or late in the day for festival recaps, tourism pieces and homes on blossom-lined streets.
Historic Macon
The Hay House, the Grand Opera House, the Allman Brothers Band Museum at The Big House and the restored Capricorn studios tell Macon's story. Exterior aerials show these buildings in context, and an indoor fly-through shows the interiors in one take. We've flown historic sites including Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest and Patrick Henry's Red Hill; see indoor fly-through tours.
Concerts by the river
Atrium Health Amphitheater opened in 2024 next to the Macon Centreplex with room for 10,000, and the Macon Coliseum, Bragg Jam and Mercer University events keep the calendar busy. Commercial and industrial
Where I-75 meets I-16, Macon's distribution and manufacturing sites need aerials that show the building, the yard and the highway access in one frame. We fly high establishing shots, frontage passes and monthly progress video from the same positions so it cuts together.
Airspace
Middle Georgia Regional Airport, south of downtown, has Class D airspace while its tower is open, Macon Downtown Airport sits on the east side, and Robins Air Force Base's airspace begins farther south. Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park is National Park Service land where drones can't be launched. We check every address and file LAANC or FAA authorization where needed.

FAQs
Can you film the Cherry Blossom Festival?
Yes, with the organizers' approval and FAA authorization where needed. The bloom depends on the weather, so we hold flexible dates around the March festival.
Can you fly over Ocmulgee Mounds?
Drones can't be launched or landed in the national park. We film nearby only from locations and altitudes the rules allow.
Do you film concerts at Atrium Health Amphitheater?
We can, with the venue's and the promoter's approval, using the same crowd and stage methods we fly at festivals like EDC Las Vegas and Austin City Limits.
Is Middle Georgia Regional Airport a problem?
Parts of south Macon sit in its Class D airspace while the tower is open, so we file LAANC for those addresses.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
