LaGrange
FPV drone pilot in LaGrange
We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in LaGrange for campus content, plant and resort fly-throughs, events and brand content. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our LaGrange, GA drone videographer page. Our headquarters is in Augusta, so Georgia shoots are planned by our home crew.
Plants, resorts and venues
Our crew filmed Megan Thee Stallion's set at Rolling Loud Miami 2021 with a micro FPV drone. Manufacturers along the I-85 corridor and resorts such as Great Wolf Lodge suit FPV that moves through production lines, lobbies and water parks, flown with each owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
LaGrange College and downtown
LaGrange College sits on the hill above downtown, and an FPV line from the square to campus shows both in one take. We film admissions and alumni content with the college's approval. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see LaGrange, GA live event drones.
West Point Lake and Georgia law
West Point Lake is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir, and flights from or over Corps land need the Corps' approval. Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three. We check every LaGrange location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

FAQs
Can you fly FPV inside a manufacturing plant?
Yes, with the owner's approval and a safety plan built around equipment and staff.
Can you fly at West Point Lake?
Flights from or over Corps land need the Corps' approval, so we launch from private land or request permission.
Can a Georgia city ban your drone shoot?
Mostly no. State law preempts most local drone rules, but a city can still control commercial launches and landings on its own property, so we confirm launch spots in LaGrange.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
