Newnan, GA FPV Drone Pilot and Operator

FPV drone pilot in Newnan

We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Newnan for historic home tours, venue and retail fly-throughs, events and brand content. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Newnan, GA drone videographer page. Our headquarters is in Augusta, so Georgia shoots are planned by our home crew.

Historic home tours

Our crew flew drones inside Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle to film Paramore's 2023 show. Newnan's antebellum and Victorian houses suit FPV tours that move from the porch through the front rooms and out the back, flown with each owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Court Square and venues

Court Square, the domed courthouse and Newnan Centre suit FPV for brand and event content, flown with the venue's approval. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Newnan, GA live event drones.

Newnan airspace and Georgia law

Newnan Coweta County Airport has no control tower. Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three. We check every Newnan location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

FAQs

Can you film a historic home tour?

Yes, with the owner's approval, using small cinewhoop drones built for indoor flight.

Can you fly FPV at Newnan Centre?

Yes, with the venue's approval and a flight plan built around guests.

Can a Georgia city ban your drone shoot?

Mostly no. State law preempts most local drone rules, but a city can still control commercial launches and landings on its own property, so we confirm launch spots in Newnan.

Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?

Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
