Tifton

FPV drone pilot in Tifton

We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Tifton for campus content, farm and equipment content, museum fly-throughs and events. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Tifton, GA drone videographer page. Our headquarters is in Augusta, so Georgia shoots are planned by our home crew.

ABAC and the Museum of Agriculture

Our crew filmed aerials of The Independent, the Austin tower known as the Jenga building, for Science Channel's Impossible Engineering. Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and its Georgia Museum of Agriculture, a 95-acre historic village, suit FPV that moves through buildings and grounds, flown with the college's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Farms and equipment dealers

Row crops, pecan groves, packing sheds and equipment dealers suit FPV that follows machines down the rows and through the shop, flown with each owner's approval. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Tifton, GA live event drones.

Tifton airspace and Georgia law

Henry Tift Myers Airport has no control tower. Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three. We check every Tifton location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

FAQs

Can you film farm equipment in action?

Yes, with the owner's approval and a safety plan built around the machines and crew.

Can you fly at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture?

Yes, with the college's approval, inside and around the historic village.

Can a Georgia city ban your drone shoot?

Mostly no. State law preempts most local drone rules, but a city can still control commercial launches and landings on its own property, so we confirm launch spots in Tifton.

Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?

Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
