Spartanburg, SC Live Event and Concert Drones

Live event drones in Spartanburg

This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Spartanburg. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Spartanburg, SC drone videographer page.

Festivals and concerts

Our crew flew aerials for the All Things Go Music Festival at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. Downtown Spartanburg's festivals, concerts and event spaces suit the same aerial coverage, flown inside the organizer's production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

College game days and campus events

Wofford College and Converse University host games, graduations and campus events, which we fly only with the school's approval. For indoor venues and lobbies see Indoor arena FPV drones. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Corporate and plant events

Plant openings, product launches and company events across Spartanburg County, including the area around BMW's Upstate plant, are flown with the owner's approval and a plan agreed with security.

Airspace and South Carolina law

Spartanburg Downtown Memorial Airport has no control tower, but Greenville-Spartanburg International's controlled airspace is to the west. We check every Spartanburg location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.South Carolina's Act 150, set to take effect January 1, 2027, makes it a crime to knowingly fly within 1,500 feet of a military installation or a prison or jail without written permission, so we plan routes around those sites.
