Golf tournaments
Our crew flew live broadcast drone work for the T-Mobile 5G Range Show at the 2024 PGA Championship. Tournaments and corporate golf events around Hartford suit the same live coverage, flown inside the tournament's production plan. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.
Game days and concerts
Pratt and Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford is on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events. Arena shows and downtown concerts are flown with the venue's approval. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Federal sites and airspace
The Bradley Air National Guard Base at Bradley International is a federal no-drone area around the clock. Bradley International has Class C airspace, and Hartford-Brainard Airport, about 3 miles southeast of downtown, has its own control tower, so many Hartford addresses need LAANC. We check every Hartford location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Permits
We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

FAQs
Can you fly at Rentschler Field on event days?
Not inside the FAA stadium flight restriction, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after covered events, unless we are part of the approved production.
Can you fly live coverage at a golf tournament?
Yes, inside the tournament's production plan, with flight paths agreed with the broadcast team.
Do Hartford events need FAA authorization?
Many do. Bradley International has Class C airspace and Hartford-Brainard has a control tower, so we file LAANC where needed.
Can you send a live drone feed to screens or a stream?
Yes. We send live drone video to LED screens, the livestream or a broadcast truck, and agree the format and cue points with your production team before show day.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
