We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. Campus, motorsport and concerts

Our crew filmed aerials of The Independent, the Austin tower known as the Jenga building, for Science Channel's Impossible Engineering. Western Kentucky University, the National Corvette Museum, Beech Bend and the city's industrial parks suit campus, event and brand films, with the owner's approval and crowd and event rules agreed ahead of time. For races, concerts and festivals we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Mammoth Cave and parks

Mammoth Cave National Park, about 30 miles northeast, is National Park Service land, where launching or landing a drone is prohibited without the superintendent's written approval. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Airspace and state law

Bowling Green-Warren County Regional, about 2 miles southeast of downtown, has no control tower, but the FAA publishes a drone altitude grid around it, so we check whether each address needs LAANC. Kentucky law makes it a crime to fly a drone over power plants, refineries, rail yards, water plants, prisons, cell towers and other key infrastructure to harm or surveil them. FAA-compliant commercial flights are exempt, but we still get the owner's consent before filming any of those sites. Kentucky State Parks require a drone permit from the park manager, and commercial shoots need the Department of Parks' written consent. We check every Bowling Green location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
