Bluffton, SC Live Event and Concert Drones

Live event drones in Bluffton

This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Bluffton. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Bluffton, SC drone videographer page.

Old Town and the May River

Our crew has flown live broadcast and FPV drone coverage at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Old Town's galleries, restaurants and the May River waterfront suit tourism and business promos. For festivals, weddings and community events we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Weddings, resorts and communities

Palmetto Bluff and other May River venues host weddings and events on lawns, docks and chapels. We fly with the venue's approval and keep a safe distance from guests. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Bluffton airspace and military sites

The island airport just east has a control tower, Savannah's controlled airspace is to the southwest, and MCAS Beaufort and Parris Island to the north are federal no-drone areas. South Carolina's Act 150, set to take effect January 1, 2027, makes it a crime to knowingly fly within 1,500 feet of a military installation or a prison or jail without written permission, so we plan routes around those sites. We check every Bluffton location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

Can you fly near MCAS Beaufort or Parris Island?

No. Both are federal no-drone areas, so we plan every flight well clear of them.

It depends on the venue. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job and get the organizer's written approval.

Yes. We send live drone video to LED screens, the livestream or a broadcast truck, and agree the format and cue points with your production team before show day.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
