Snellville

FPV drone pilot in Snellville

We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Snellville for progress films, restaurant and shop fly-throughs, Towne Green recaps and brand content. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Snellville, GA drone videographer page. Our headquarters is in Augusta, so Georgia shoots are planned by our home crew.

The Grove at Towne Center

Snellville is building out its downtown around the Towne Green and The Grove at Towne Center, a mixed-use district with restaurants, shops and event space. We film progress flights for the developers and tenants, promos for downtown businesses and indoor one-take fly-throughs that show the room the way a guest sees it. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Festivals and neighborhoods

Festivals and concerts on the Towne Green suit short recaps, flown with the city and the organizers on board. Established subdivisions, new townhomes and commercial lots along US-78 and Scenic Highway are steady work for agents and builders. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. For live event coverage see our Snellville, GA live event drones page. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Airspace

Snellville is southeast of Gwinnett County Airport-Briscoe Field, and the airspace can change from one address to the next. We check every Snellville location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Georgia drone law

Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three.

FAQs

Do you fly progress films at The Grove?

Yes. Progress flights, finished-site shots and leasing content for builders, developers and tenants.

Can you fly FPV at a Towne Green festival?

Yes, with the city and the organizers on board. We plan flight paths that keep clear of the crowd unless our waivers allow otherwise.

Can you film a ticketed show in Snellville?

Yes, with the organizer's consent. Georgia law bars drone flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without it, so we get written consent first.

Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?

Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
