Duluth, GA FPV Drone Pilot

Air Views Media flies FPV drones in Duluth for arena events, conventions, sports and local brands. Our Georgia crew flew Paramore in a Seattle arena and live FPV inside Sphere, so indoor venue work is familiar ground. FAA Part 107 certified pilots, $10M liability standard (optional up to $25M).

Gas South Arena and indoor shows

Gas South Arena hosts concerts, family shows and Atlanta Gladiators hockey. Arena FPV takes planning with the venue, the promoter and the show: rigging and pyro positions, safe zones away from the audience, and timing with the lighting cues. A run from the upper bowl to center ice before doors, or a flight onto the stage during load-in, gives a tour or team content no fixed camera can. More on concert and festival FPV.

Conventions and trade shows

The convention center next door brings expos, conferences and corporate events. FPV makes the opening shot of a recap: over the registration crowd, down the main aisle and into the keynote hall as the lights drop. Small ducted drones keep indoor flights safe around attendees and booths.

Downtown and the Town Green

Duluth's Town Green and the downtown around it host concerts, movie nights and the Duluth Fall Festival. Close by, the Southeastern Railway Museum's locomotives and rail cars make a fun FPV subject for tourism or a brand shoot, flown with the museum's approval.

Airspace

Gwinnett County Airport (Briscoe Field) in Lawrenceville is a few miles east, and parts of Duluth may fall within its controlled airspace. We check airspace and file any LAANC or waiver requests for each address. Indoor arena and convention flights need venue approval, not FAA authorization.

Yes, with small ducted drones flown on planned routes around attendees and booths.

Do indoor flights need FAA approval?

No, but they need the venue's approval and a safety plan, which we prepare.
