Town Center and The Forum

Peachtree Corners Town Center and The Forum on Peachtree Parkway are the city's retail and dining hubs, and for restaurants and shops an indoor one-take fly-through shows the room the way a guest sees it. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

The river and airspace

Land managed by the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is closed to drone flights without the superintendent's written approval, so we plan around it. Peachtree-DeKalb Airport's Class D airspace lies to the southwest of the city. We check every Peachtree Corners location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Georgia drone law

Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three.

Can you follow a vehicle on the Curiosity Lab route?

Yes, with the property owner and city on board, and on a route that keeps clear of traffic and people unless our waivers allow otherwise.

Can you fly over the Chattahoochee?

Not from or over National Park Service land without the superintendent's written approval. We shoot from private property or plan around those units.

Can you film a ticketed show in Peachtree Corners?

Yes, with the organizer's consent. Georgia law bars drone flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without it, so we get written consent first.

Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?

Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
