Town Brookhaven, the apartments and offices along Peachtree Road and Oglethorpe University's Gothic campus give leasing teams and marketers strong subjects. We fly low passes along the frontage and indoor fly-throughs of lobbies and amenity spaces with the owner's approval. Healthcare and the Cherry Blossom Festival
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Arthur M. Blank Hospital opened in 2024 on North Druid Hills Road, and for campuses like it we plan interior and exterior work around the rooftop helipads and the facility's security rules. Peachtree-DeKalb Airport sits on Brookhaven's eastern edge, and parts of Brookhaven sit under its Class D airspace while the tower is open, so we file LAANC or FAA authorization where it's needed and plan around hospital helicopter traffic. We check every Brookhaven location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Georgia drone law
Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three.
