Smyrna, GA FPV Drone Pilot
Air Views Media flies FPV drones in Smyrna, next door to The Battery and Truist Park, where our crew flew live drone feeds for TV and the video board for the Atlanta Braves. Our FAA Part 107 certified pilots carry $10M liability standard (optional up to $25M).
Next door to Truist Park
Smyrna's businesses ride the energy of game days, and FPV captures it: a restaurant or hotel tour that ends with the stadium lights on the horizon, or a fast run through a bar packed with fans in red. On game days, the stadium's TFR covers the surrounding airspace, so we schedule outdoor flights around it and plan indoor shots when needed. Read the Truist Park case study.
Market Village and the Jonquil Festival
Smyrna Market Village, with its restaurants and green space by City Hall and the library, is compact enough for one-take FPV. The Jonquil Festival in spring and the summer concerts on the village green give event content a natural setting. We fly with city approval and keep clear of anyone who isn't part of the shoot.
The Silver Comet and active brands
The Silver Comet Trail starts nearby and heads west toward Alabama. For bike shops, running brands and fitness content, FPV follows a rider along the trail at a few feet and lifts out over the tree line. It's the same chase style we use for vehicles, scaled down.
Dobbins, the TFR and authorization
Smyrna is close to Dobbins Air Reserve Base, which has Class D airspace, so most addresses need LAANC or an FAA authorization. Truist Park's TFR applies on game days and for large events. We check every address against FAA data and NOTAMs before the date and give you a clear go or no-go.

FAQs
Can you fly near Truist Park on game day?
Outdoor flights inside the stadium TFR need specific approval, so we usually schedule around game days or shoot indoors.
Have you worked at Truist Park?
Yes. We flew live drone feeds for TV and the video board for the Atlanta Braves.
Can you film at Market Village during the Jonquil Festival?
With the city's approval and FAA authorization, on a route that keeps clear of the crowd unless our waivers allow otherwise.
Is Dobbins a problem for flights in Smyrna?
It means filing for authorization, which we do for every address that needs it.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
