Marietta, GA FPV Drone Pilot
Air Views Media flies FPV drones in Marietta and across Cobb County. Our Georgia crew flew live feeds for TV and the video board for the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park, a few miles down I-75 from Marietta Square. FAA Part 107 certified pilots, $10M liability standard (optional up to $25M).
Marietta Square at FPV speed
The square is built for a moving camera. An FPV line can start above the trees in Glover Park, run past the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre marquee and duck under the tree canopy to a restaurant patio, all in one take. During Chalktoberfest or a Saturday farmers market, the same line shows the crowd and the color without a single cut. We fly only where the city and the event allow, and we keep the aircraft clear of anyone who isn't part of the shoot.
Productions and period streets
Marietta's historic streets and neighborhoods regularly stand in for other places and other decades in film and TV. FPV is how productions get chase shots, vehicle follows and fast reveals without a crane or a helicopter. We work under the production's location permits and road closures, alongside the stunt and safety teams. See drone cinematography for film.
Campus, industry and brand work
Campuses such as Life University and Kennesaw State's Marietta campus are good settings for FPV recruiting films, and Cobb's corporate parks along I-75 suit facility and culture videos: down a corridor, through a lab, out onto the roof. Airspace around Marietta
Marietta has more airspace to manage than most suburbs. Dobbins Air Reserve Base is on the south side of town and Cobb County's McCollum Field is to the northwest, each with Class D airspace. Truist Park carries a stadium TFR on game days, and Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is National Park Service land where launching drones is prohibited. We check every address and file LAANC or FAA authorization before the shoot.

Can you fly FPV on Marietta Square during an event?
Where the city and the organizer approve, on a route that stays clear of the crowd unless our waivers and the event allow otherwise.
Do you work on film productions in Cobb County?
Yes. We fly under the production's location permits and closures and coordinate with the stunt and safety teams.
Can you launch from Kennesaw Mountain?
No. It's National Park Service land and launching drones is prohibited. We can use permitted spots outside the park.
Is Dobbins a problem for drone flights?
It means authorization. Parts of Marietta are Class D airspace around Dobbins and McCollum Field, and we file before we fly.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
