Marietta, GA Live Broadcast and Live Stream Drones

Air Views Media flies live broadcast and live stream drones in Marietta and Cobb County. Our crew flew live drone feeds for TV and the stadium video board for the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park, so we know what a Cobb County broadcast needs. Liability is $10M standard (optional up to $25M).

One drone, two destinations

At Truist Park, our drone fed two places at once: the TV broadcast and the stadium video board. The director and the board operator could each cut to it like any other camera. That's the model for Marietta events too: one aerial or FPV signal, split to your truck or switcher, your stream and your screens. Read the Truist Park case study and how we do it on live broadcast drones.

What goes live in Marietta

Friday-night high school football in Cobb County, graduation ceremonies, Marietta's Fourth in the Park, with the Let Freedom Ring parade past Glover Park and fireworks over the square, church services and conferences, and corporate town halls at campuses along I-75. For outdoor sports, the drone gives a wide tactical angle and dramatic openers; for civic events, it shows the size of the crowd. See drone video board live feeds.

Radio planning in a crowded area

The Cumberland and Battery area is crowded with wireless signals on event days. Before a live job we scan the venue, pick clean frequencies for the control and video links and agree them with your RF coordinator. Where cellular is crowded, we plan bonded TVU with backup, or a direct link to the truck.

Dobbins, McCollum and the stadium TFR

Marietta sits between Dobbins Air Reserve Base and McCollum Field, both Class D, so most live jobs here need FAA authorization filed in advance. Truist Park's stadium TFR is active on game days, and we schedule around it or work under the right approval. Kennesaw Mountain is National Park Service land, so we don't launch there.

FAQs

Can one drone feed our broadcast and the video board?

Yes. We split the signal so the director and the board operator each have it, as we did for the Braves at Truist Park.

Can you stream Friday-night football in Cobb County?

Yes, with the school's approval and FAA authorization where needed. We fly outside the playing area and away from spectators.

How do you avoid wireless interference near The Battery?

We scan the venue, choose clean frequencies and coordinate with your RF lead before show day.

Do you need FAA approval in Marietta?

Usually. Dobbins and McCollum Field put much of Marietta in Class D airspace. We file through LAANC or directly with the FAA.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
