Omaha

FPV drone pilot in Omaha

We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Omaha for ballpark and arena content, office fly-throughs, events and brand films. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Omaha, NE drone videographer page.

Ballparks and arenas

Our crew flew live drone feeds for TV and the video board for the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park. Omaha's ballpark and arenas suit close FPV inside an approved production. Big events such as the College World Series can bring temporary flight restrictions, so we check NOTAMs for event dates. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Omaha, NE live event drones.

Offices and venues

Corporate headquarters, hotels and venues suit one-take FPV tours for recruiting and brand films, flown with the owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes.

Offutt and airspace

Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue and the Marine Corps reserve center in Omaha are federal no-drone areas around the clock, and Offutt's airfield has its own controlled airspace. Eppley Airfield has Class C airspace, so many central addresses need LAANC. We check every Omaha location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.
