Churches, communities and venues

Grovetown is one of the fastest-growing places in the Augusta area, driven largely by growth at Fort Eisenhower, and its larger churches and new-home communities host events and open houses that suit aerial and indoor coverage. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Fort Eisenhower airspace and Georgia law

Fort Eisenhower has restricted airspace and range areas just south of Grovetown, and we never fly into them or over the installation. Jobs near the post boundary get an extra look before we quote. Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three. We check every Grovetown location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
