Fresno, CA Live Event and Concert Drones

Live event drones in Fresno

This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Fresno. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Fresno, CA drone videographer page.

Game days and arena concerts

Our crew flew live drone feeds for TV and the video board for the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park. Fresno State football at Valley Children's Stadium falls under the FAA stadium flight restriction for large college games, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after the event. Inside the Save Mart Center we fly small drones with the venue's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Fairs and festivals

The Big Fresno Fair and festivals across Fresno and Clovis are flown inside the organizer's production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes.

Airspace and military traffic

Fresno Yosemite International has Class C airspace and shares its runways with the California Air National Guard's 144th Fighter Wing, and Naval Air Station Lemoore to the southwest adds more military jet traffic. Wildfire temporary flight restrictions can close large areas in summer and fall, and flying into one is illegal. We check every Fresno location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Permits

We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.
