We fly Fresno State game days, arena concerts, the Big Fresno Fair, farms and packing operations, construction progress and real estate across Fresno, Clovis and the Central Valley. Fresno Yosemite and the Air Guard

Fresno Yosemite International east of downtown has Class C airspace and shares its runways with the California Air National Guard's 144th Fighter Wing, so fighter traffic is part of the picture. Naval Air Station Lemoore, southwest of the city, adds more military jet traffic we plan around. We check every Fresno location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Valley Children's Stadium and Save Mart Center

Fresno State football at Valley Children's Stadium falls under the FAA stadium flight restriction for large college games, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after the event. Inside the Save Mart Center we fly small drones with the venue's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Yosemite, Sequoia and state parks

Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks are National Park Service land, where launching or landing a drone is prohibited without the superintendent's written approval. California State Parks allow drones unless a park has posted an order banning them, and commercial filming in a state park needs a State Parks permit through the California Film Commission, with drone paperwork filed ahead of the shoot. Wildfire temporary flight restrictions can close large areas in summer and fall, and flying into one is illegal.

Do you need FAA approval to fly in Fresno?

Can you film Yosemite with a drone?

No. Drones are prohibited in Yosemite without the superintendent's written approval, so we plan aerials on land outside the park.

Can you film farms and packing operations?

Yes, with the owner's approval. We plan flights around crews, equipment and neighboring properties.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
