California Live Broadcast and FPV Drone Videography

Outside Lands, San Francisco, 2023 to 2025

Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park is one of California's biggest music festivals, and we've been part of its aerial livestream team three years running.

• 2023: aerials from the live team producing the festival's livestream on Prime Video.

• 2024: flying on stage for Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso," livestreamed on Amazon Music with livestream production by Live Cinema Services. We also captured Chappell Roan packing the Polo Field.

• 2025: a livestream on Amazon Prime and Twitch, using our FAA §107.39 waiver to fly drones over 250 grams above the crowd.

Live aerials, built for streaming

Live is a different job from filming for later. The feed goes out as we fly, so every move has to be right the first time. Our small, agile drones deliver smooth, broadcast-ready aerial streams that bring a festival to life for viewers at home, from main-stage crowd sweeps to on-stage FPV passes. We also fly FPV drone live broadcast for TV, sports and events.

Festival credits beyond California

The same crew has flown Austin City Limits (Sabrina Carpenter's set live on Hulu), EDC Las Vegas, Life is Beautiful, Ultra Music Festival and the Vans Warped Tour livestream, plus sub-100-gram livestream drones inside the Sphere in Las Vegas.

Waivers for complex operations

Air Views Media holds FAA waivers for operation over people (§107.39), over moving vehicles (§107.145), multiple aircraft (§107.35), beyond visual line of sight (§107.31), operation from a moving vehicle (§107.25) and operating limitations (§107.51).
